The BMW 2002 Turbo was launched at the 1973 Frankfurt Motor Show. BMW's first production turbo.
The BMW 2002 Turbo came painted in either chamonix white or polaris silver and was never officially sold in the United States. It was mainly intended as a homologation special and had the "2002 Turbo" written mirrored on the front lip.
